Subhasis Chaudhuri, born on November 22nd, 1970. The youngest of three children of his parents. He grew up in Malda town (West Bengal, India) from his childhood. He studied at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyamandir. Later, he graduated in Biology from Malda College. During his college life, he had a slight involvement in literary circles. He had interest in art and painting. However, later in life, the struggle for livelihood hindered that involvement. But some events in society again encouraged him to engage in literary practice. He is always shaken by the various inequalities of society. With the aim of doing something for the people of his district, he and his acquaintances founded a non-profit organization called Pirojpur Noboday Welfare Society. With the financial support of the people, he continues to work for the people of Malda district through that organization. Today, his main identity is as a social worker.
