Synopsis
Yash Gangwar comes from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, and his journey has been full of turns. After finishing his studies, he began his career in the hospitality field. But while he managed hotels by profession, his heart was always chasing stories. That love for creativity slowly pulled him away from hospitality and led him to writing.
His first steps as a writer were in the world of television, where he worked as an assistant writer. Later, he became part of the creative teams in Indian Cinema. This experience helped him learn the art of shaping characters and building stories that connect with people.
Now living in Mumbai and working as a Bollywood professional, Yash continues to draw inspiration from cinema. The film world has given his writing a visual, almost cinematic style, full of emotions, life, and detail.
His debut novel, “Where Anklets Once Danced”, is his first step into literature. It is a story that blends history, love, and rebellion, written with the heart of a storyteller and the eye of a screenwriter. With this book, Yash hopes to offer readers a journey that feels both real and cinematic -a story to be felt as much as it is read.
