Dr. Md. Shahnawaz Rizvi is an Assistant Professor in the departament of Urdu of R. Lal college, Alinagar, Nalanda, Bihar.He has done M A. Urdu in eight subjects and Ph.D. in Urdu in addition to many diploma & Certificate courses. He is known in the Urdu Literary world as Sahba Nadim Rizvi. He has 35 years of teaching experience and 25 years of research experience. He has devoted his life to the promotion of Urdu language, literature, and education. He grew up in a deeply literary environment and rich cultural atmosphere nurtured his love for Urdu from Childhood.

Dr. Rizvi wrote his first play "Do Dost Ya Bhai" which was published in 'Payam-e-Taleen', New Delhi in 1982. Since then he has written and published numerous short Stories, Dramas, Poetries, humorous pieces, critical essay. and research articles in national and international magazines & Journals. He has also been an active participant in Bazm-e-Adab of All India Radio, Patna, He has attended and presented papers in over a 250 national and international Seminars, Webinars, and Conferences.

Dr. Rizvi holds imbestant positions in many national and international organizations. In recognition of his Scholarly contribution and social commitment, he has received several awards including: Gems of New Millennium Award (2000), Bharat Excellence Award (2001), Educational Excellence Award (2001), Rising Personalities of India Award (2001), Jewel of India Award (2001), Vijay Shree Award (2006), Best Citizen of India Award (2006) etc..

Dr. Rizvi strongly believes in bringing education to the most oppressed and economically weaker sections of society. His vision is to uplift beople through compassion, support and empowerment. Accord to him, a powerful I nation can only be built when every community and every individuals is educated, respected and strongthened with love and mutual understanding.
