Like other federal countries such as Canada, America, Australia, India has also adopted the federal system, which is taken from the Constitution of Canada. If we look at the diversity of India since independence, the federal system has been successful. But according to the changing times, its changing dimensions have also been seen in the Indian federal system. For example, in the changing dimensions, there are central schemes like NITI Aayog in place of Planning Commission, one country one election, one country one tax, Ayushman Bharat, Tap Water Scheme, New Education Policy 2020, etc. Having the government of the same party in most of the states has been realizing the changing dimensions of the current Indian federal system. In the Indian federal system, the supremacy of the constitution, written and rigid constitution, independent court, bicameral legislature, dual governance system have a place.
