Rajesh Kumar Das is a RCI registered prosthetics and orthotics professional with over 15 years of experience in clinical rehabilitation, assistive technology, and innovation driven healthcare services. He currently serves as In Charge of the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) Prosthetic and Orthotic Centre, Faridabad, a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. He also serves as Head of the 3D Design and Innovation Studio, Faridabad, where he leads digital design and additive manufacturing initiatives for P&O applications.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO), a Bachelor of Education in Special Education ( intellectual Disabilities) , and an MBA in Health Care Services. His research interests include 3D design, additive manufacturing, prosthetics, orthotics, assistive technology, and community-based rehabilitation. He has completed certification and training in Additive Manufacturing and Digital Fabrication from IIT Guwahati, NITTR Bhopal and DIC, Punjab University. He has published articles and book chapters and has been invited as a Panelist, keynote speaker and resource person on digital fabrication and assistive technology. He is also a 3D GEMS Ambassador with 3DGraphy, promoting 3D technologies in Prosthetic & Orthotic Sector.
