Sumeet Kishore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi, India for last 10 years. He holds a B.Tech in Mining Engineering from B.I.T. Sindri, Dhanbad, and an M.Tech in Mining Engineering from Shridhar University, Rajasthan. He has a strong academic and research profile with over 20 publications in Scopus-indexed, UGC CARE, and peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include mine ventilation, rock mechanics, cs slope stability, haul road optimization, and sustainable mining practices. He has also contributed multiple book chapters with internationally recognized publishers and serves as a reviewer for several UGC-listed journals He is the holder of a published patent titled "Auto Controlled Air Pollution Control Techniques in Mining Areas," reflecting his focus on practical and sustainable solutions in mining engineering. He has actively participated in national and international conferences and has received notable recognitions, including the Global Teaching Excellence Award (2021) and the Indian Inspiration Award (2026). He is also an active member of professional bodies such as the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Indian Academic Researchers Association.
