Raagi Kumar
Raagi Kumar, 17, is a humanities student at Army Public School, Delhi Cantt. She is a published author whose work has appeared in four anthologies, each unravelling profound themes – the hues of human emotion, the light of female empowerment, the shadows of social injustice and the seasons of relationships. Marking her first independent creation, this collection is a meditation on what it means to be human.
From an early age, Raagi has spoken the language of art - singing, dancing, and writing to make sense of the world around her. What once began as passion, has become purpose. She is now an award-winning singer and dancer, and a published author who continues to create and convey.
Inspired by the works of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni and Sylvia Plath, Raagi writes with the belief that power and vulnerability often bloom from the same soil. Through her words, she seeks not to offer answers, but to offer reflection, and perhaps, a sense of belonging.
