RAJESH SAHAY
Rajesh Sahay is a freelance writer and a blogger. Retired as a Joint Secretary (Finance)/Sr. Comptroller from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, his interest lies in writing short stories in Hindi, documenting the travels to religious destinations and penning his views on issues of general interest. His published works include religious travelogues (in English and Hindi), a compilation of short stories (in Hindi), and issues of general interest. He has delivered talks on All India Radio, Jamshedpur. The World Hindi Secretariat has awarded his story. He has also been awarded by the Jaipur-based literary institution ‘Sahitya Samartha’ with the coveted Dr Kumud Tikku Award. His short stories in Hindi have been published by all the renowned Hindi literary magazines such as ‘Kadambini, ‘Katha Kram, ‘Sahitya Amrit’, ‘Mandakini’, ‘Sarmaya Hind’, ‘ Laaksha’, ‘Neelanjali’, etc. His religious travelogues have been published by the US-based magazine ‘Hinduism Today’ and Chennai-based ‘Tattavaloka’.
