She is a graduate of Presidency College with Hindi Honours and Sanskrit, along with a B.Ed in teaching. She is from an army background, having lived mostly in barracks around India. She has received an International Pride Award from the Hindi Sahitya Academy for newcomers' talent, certification from the London College of Teachers for Child Psychology.
She enjoys travelling, exploring places, music, and books.
