"Mr. Kamsali Pruthvi Raju, is a researcher in Genetics and Plant Breeding with expertise in genome editing, CRISPR/Cas technologies, molecular breeding, and functional genomics. He obtained his B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Hyderabad, and completed his M.Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Pusa, Bihar. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding at the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, where his research focuses on CRISPR/Cas-mediated genome editing.
He has qualified the UGC-NET (Assistant Professor), ASRB-NET 2025, and ASRB Mains Examination 2025. He is the recipient of the Best Researcher Award by Agriinnova and has published several research articles, review papers, and book chapters in reputed national and international journals. His research interests include genome editing, crop improvement, bioinformatics, and precision breeding.
Dr. Anilkumar Lalasing Chavan, the author of this book is distinguished professional with
a B.Sc. Agriculture from UAS Dharwad. Subsequently completed his M.Sc in Genetics and Plant Breeding from KSNUAHS, Shivamogga and Ph.D in Genetics and Plant Breeding from KSNUAHS, Shivamogga, He has qualified his ASRB NET in 2025. Till date, he has published several research papers and review papers in National and International journals. He has participated and presented papers in many national and international conferences, participated in 'R software' workshops and International Agriculture Training cum Summer school programs and International Webinars.
