"Vijish Thilak's poems combine simplicity with depth
of feeling and thought. and show a rare sense
of rhyme and rhythm. He writes about losses, human
relationships, memories, and day-to-day experiences,
all in the context of the kinship between man and
nature. Images and metaphors come to Vijish easily,
and there is a visual quality to all his poems while
they also carry reflections on man's being and
