Dr. Subhra Sankha Daw (HC)
Dr. Subhra Sankha Daw (HC) is an author, independent researcher, and scholar dedicated to the study of Indian spirituality, Tantra, Puranic literature, and the historical heritage of Kamrup–Kamakhya. His research focuses on the 51 Shakti Peethas Tantric traditions, and the preservation of India's ancient spiritual and cultural legacy through the study of classical scriptures, historical sources, and traditional knowledge.
In recognition of his contributions to spirituality and devotional studies, he was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Spiritual and Devotional Studies in 2026 by the Magic Book of Records.
His debut book, "Kamrup Kamakhya Puran Tantra Itihas", presents a comprehensive exploration of the mythology, history, sacred geography, and Tantric traditions associated with the revered Kamakhya Temple and the ancient land of Kamrup.
