Dr. Rajkumar Easwarapillai is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His areas of expertise include CAD/CAM, Additive Manufacturing, Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Product Design, Robotics, Automation, Reverse Engineering, and Optimization Techniques.

He has over 20 years of teaching, research, and industrial experience and has made significant contributions to engineering education and applied research. Dr. Rajkumar has authored 12 engineering textbooks, published more than 78 research papers in Scopus- and SCI-indexed journals, filed 17 patents, and has been granted 3 Indian patents. His research focuses on smart manufacturing, rapid prototyping, medical device development, and sustainable engineering solutions.
