Dr. Vivek Hamal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Management Department at School of Management & Commerce, Brainware University, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

He is a qualified engineer in computer. He holds M.B.A with Doctorate in Supply Chain Management. He possesses more than 13 years of experience with blend of corporate as well as academics. He has published more than 30 papers in the area of supply chain and operation at different national and international journal including UGC care listed, Scopus indexed and web of science journals. He had even presented papers in his domain at various national & international conference at different universities. He had even published two books as an editor and one book as an author. He was even awarded with Best Paper Award in one of the international conferences organised by SKIPS, Ahmadabad, Gujarat.

His research area includes Supply Chain Management, Operation Management and Marketing Management. He is also being invited as a resource person/ speaker and also being appointed as a reviewer at different international events and international conference from Maldives, Hongkong and Myanmar. He is also the Life Member of Nepal-India Friendship Association.
