Dr. Umrao Singh Yadav, Advocate is a distinguished tax law practitioner, mediator, author, and legal professional with more than four decades of experience in the field of indirect taxation. He has been actively practicing in matters relating to Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Goods and Services Tax (GST) since 1985.

In recognition of his contributions to the legal profession, public service, and tax jurisprudence, he was conferred an Honorary Doctorate by the Gandhi Peace Foundation. He has also been serving as the Co-Brand Ambassador of Gandhi Peace Foundation, Nepal since 2025, promoting the values of peace, justice, ethical governance, and social responsibility.
