"Dr. C. Starmine, RN, RM, MSc (N), PhD (N), is an accomplished nursing academic, researcher, and mental health professional with over 17 years of experience in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. She holds a PhD inNursing from Omayal Achi College of Nursing, Chennai, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and a BSc in Nursing from Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai. She serves as a Research Guide for PhD Scholars under the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Kerala, and actively mentors PhD, MSc, and BSc Nursing students in research methodology, proposal development, scholarly writing, and publication. Dr. Starmine has received several professional distinctions, including the Young Achiever in Nursing Award (2013), Best Teacher Award (2015), and recognition for Academic Excellence and Outstanding anain Contribution to Research (2021). She has also been honoured with Best Scientific Paper and Best Poster Awards at international and national conferences. Her scholarly work has been presented at international, national, and state-level forums and published in peer-reviewed and indexed journals, including Scopus-indexed publications. Barabanki. She has got more than 7 years of experience as teaching afaculty. She did graduation
and post-graduation from Era College of Nursing, Era University, Lucknow.
The author is a life time member of Trained Nurses Association of India and Society of Midwives
in India. She has attended many National and International Conferences, seminars and
workshops. She held the post of Chairperson Programme committee and joint secretary of TNAI work
Uttar Pradesh state branch. She has organized SNA and TNAI conferences at state levels.
She has been consistently guiding UG and PG nursing students in research and has published many research papers. She
