"Dr. Shashikant Awasthi, the editor of ""Towards Developed India: Vision 2047"", is a distinguished sociologist and academician. He completed his postgraduate studies in Sociology and earned his Ph.D. from Dr. Harisingh Gour University. His research focuses on cross-cultural marriages and global social interactions.
He has qualified NET and received both JRF and SRF, and has previously edited books on ""National Education Policy 2020"" and ""Indian Knowledge system."" Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Government Girls PG College.
