Dr. Chandrashekar
"Dr. Chandrashekar is a dedicated and promising scholar with a
profound interest in sociological research. His academic pursuits
primarily focus on the structural dynamics of Indian society, rural
and urban community development, and women's empowerment.
He holds an impressive, multidisciplinary academic background,
having earned his M.A. in Sociology (2003) and an M.Ed. from
Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi, alongside an M.A. in History
from Karnatak University, Dharwad. Validating his deep
commitment to the field, he was awarded his Ph.D. in Sociology in
2023 by Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi. With a rich and diverse
teaching career spanning over two decades, Dr. Chandrashekar
has been a guiding force for countless students from both rural
and urban backgrounds. His vast pedagogical experience ranges
across D.Ed., Pre-University, and degree-level education. He currently serves as an Associate
Professor and the Head of the Department of Sociology at Government First Grade College,
Kampli, in the Bellary District. Demonstrating exceptional administrative leadership, he also
previously held the position of Principal at the same institution. Furthermore, he has made
significant contributions to postgraduate education, having successfully guided over 75
students in the P.G. Department of Sociology at SKNG Government First Grade College.
Gangavathi. An active contributor to the sociological academic discourse, Dr. Chandrashekar
has published 24 research articles in UGC-CARE listed and peer-reviewed international
open-access journals. He has consistently shared his insights by presenting numerous research
papers at various national and international seminars and conferences. His academic expertise
is highly regarded at the institutional level, where he has served with distinction as both the
Chairman and a Member of the Board of Examinations (BOE) at VSK University, Bellary. I
firmly believe that this volume will serve as an invaluable resource for understanding the
