ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Pawan Kumar Soni is currently working as an Associate Professor at St. Wilfred's College for Girls, Jaipur, where he has been actively involved in teaching and research for several years. He has completed his undergraduate studies from Department of Biotechnology, Mohan Lal Sukhadiya University, Udaipur further post-graduation was accomplished with specialization in Biochemistry from School of Biochemistry, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhaylaya, Indore as well as with specialization in Entomology from Vardhman Mahaveer University Kota.
Dr. Soni was awarded Ph.D. by the Department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and completed his doctoral research in the Reproductive Biomedicine and Natural Product Laboratory under the guidance of Prof. P. C. Mali. He has also completed a research project entitled "Effects of Ionizing Radiation on Protein Expression and DNA Damage" at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Government of India.
His research interests are interdisciplinary in nature and primarily focus on the application of phytometabolites on reproductive physiology as well as on nano-bio interactions and their uses in environmental remediation and biomedical sciences. Dr. Soni has published numerous research articles and book chapters in reputed national and international journals and actively contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer for several indexed journals
