Khushwinder Singh completed his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agriculture from Baba Farid
Group of Institutions, Bathinda, Punjab in 2015 and Master of Science in Agriculture
(Entomology) from Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Punjab in 2017. Presently
he is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Entomology, Faculty of Agriculture,
Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Punjab. He has a strong academic, teaching
and research background. He has a total of seven years of experience in teaching and research.
He has published several research articles, review articles, popular articles and book chapters in
renowned journals. He has expertise in Insect ecology, integrated pest management, apiculture
and sericulture. He has attended various national and international
conferences/seminars/webinars/training/workshops so far. He has also received young
professional award in an International conference. He has also conducted trainings for
students/farmers/researchers on apiculture and sericulture. He has delivered several guest lecture
related to apiculture and sericulture. Apart from these achievements, he has already published a
manual on Diseases of field crops and their management.
