Dr. Vandita Chahar is an accomplished legal academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and institutional leadership. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor & Research Coordinator (Law) at the Seedling School of Law & Governance, Jaipur National University, Rajasthan. She holds a Ph.D. in Personal Law from Apex University, Jaipur (2023), an LL.M. in Criminal Law (2014), and LL.B. (2008) from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, along with postgraduate degrees in Arts and Home Science. Throughout her career, Dr. Chahar has held several academic and administrative roles, including Head of the School of Law at the University of Technology, Jaipur, and Director of Career Vision Law Academy, Jaipur. She has guided LL.M. dissertations, supervised Ph.D. scholars, and mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students across diverse fields of law. Her teaching expertise spans Family Law, Criminal Law, Cyber Law, IPR, ADR, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, and Company Law. She has also contributed as a judge in national and international moot court competitions and served as a paper setter and examiner for law programs. A prolific researcher, Dr. Chahar has published extensively in reputed national and international journals on subjects such as environmental crimes, cybersecurity, intellectual property rights, family law, arbitration, and corporate liability. She has also co-authored a book on the constitutional relationship between the Union and the States. Somya Singh is a final-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University, where she has consistently been the class topper for the last three years. With a strong academic foundation, she has developed deep interests in criminal law and family law, alongside expertise in legal research, holding a Manupatra certification in this field. She has an impressive academic and extracurricular record with multiple research papers, articles, blogs, and case comments published in reputed national and international journals, covering diverse legal themes ranging from cybercrime, intellectual property, and environmental law to constitutional law and human rights. Somya has also participated in moot court competitions, seminars, webinars, and legal aid activities, and interned with esteemed advocates, law firms, and institutions, including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and reputed legal organizations.
