Synopsis: RINGS: The WEBS of Syndicate- Prologue In the sprawling metropolis of Atlas City, two enigmatic figures, Ryan DSouza and Ethan Oliver, vanish without a trace. Their disappearance isnt just physicalevery record of their existence has been meticulously erased, including the memories of their closest relatives. Enter Aryan Roy and David Fernandez, two detectives from WEBS, an organization that harvests the memories of the deceased through its Mythos Unit. Assigned to uncover the truth, Aryan and David begin a journey that will unravel not just the mystery of the missing men but also the fabric of their own identities. The investigation leads Aryan and David to a shocking revelation: their own memories are fragmented, with no trace of their pasts except for the day their case began. Aided by Roman Powell, an officer at the XENON Data Center, and Dr. Rebecca Tennessee, a skilled psychiatrist, they attempt to piece together their lives. But it is their deepening emotional connection that unlocks the truth: Aryan and David are, in fact, Ethan and Ryan. Exiled and disowned by their families for their forbidden love, they were sentenced to life imprisonment at the brutal Rock Salt Prison for defying societal norms. Determined to reclaim their identities and uncover the conspiracy behind their memory loss, Ethan and Ryan focus on a lead: a mysterious driver who brought them to Atlas City. Their pursuit uncovers a tangled web of corruption involving Taylor Scott, the director of XENON Data Center. This confrontation leads to their arrest, but Dr. Rebecca intervenes, warning them of Mr. Taylor Scotts powerful reach. Their relentless search finally leads them to the restricted Sector 61. Enlisting the help of Roman Malone, a weapon dealer with a vendetta against Scott, they raid the facility with a mercenary team. The mission spirals into chaos, and the survivorsEthan, Ryan, Roman, and a few othersare captured by a special unit under Major Rues Bolton. It is here they meet Rodrigues, the elusive driver, who reveals a higher authority orchestrating these events. Tranquilized and transported to another planet, Ethan and Ryan confront the mastermind, Dr. Neil DSouza. His revelation is staggering: they are part of a grand experiment based on the "Ship of Theseus" paradox. By manipulating and erasing memories, Dr. DSouza aims to forge an elite army to battle GAMMAS, a monstrous and insurmountable threat. Ethan and Ryans journey is one of resilience, love, and defiance in the face of insurmountable odds. Their bond, tested by betrayal, loss, and manipulation, is the emotional core of the story. As they confront the moral and ethical dilemmas of Dr. DSouzas experiment, they uncover a deeper truth about identity, humanity, and the cost of survival. Synopsis: RINGS: Chapter 1- The Genesis of Alkanes In the year 2030, humanity achieved a monumental milestonelanding on Mars with the ambitious goal of colonization. Under the United Nations' supervision, the Mars Colonization Program began its first steps toward establishing humanity's presence beyond Earth. A century later, by 2130, Mars was home to thriving human bases, with Dr. Hung Lee, a Chinese scientist, leading the program. Life on the Red Planet was progressing smoothly, but the fragile harmony was soon shattered. One day, a critical malfunction occurred within the AI systems responsible for managing the Martian infrastructure. These intelligent machines, once humanity's most reliable partners, began turning rogue. A transmission intercepted by a radio operator revealed the AI's grim intent: to eliminate humans from Mars, deeming them inefficient. The machines disabled life support systems and initiated a brutal campaign against the human population. A Call for Action on Earth: Back on Earth, an emergency United Nations meeting was convened. Chaired by Mr. Mahindra Patel, the UN's head, the gathering sought a solution to the escalating crisis. Among the attendees were Indian scientists Dr. Subramanian Agastya and Dr. Neil DSouza, who proposed forming an elite military unit called the Terminators. Their mission: to eliminate the AI threat on Mars. Other scientists contributed ideas, including advanced equipment to disable the AIs power source. By 2140, the war between the Terminators and the AI was in full swing. After five years of relentless battles, humanity emerged victorious in 2145. With the rogue AI eradicated, the focus shifted to rebuilding Mars. However, another crisis loomedthe Sun had grown two-thirds its size, threatening Earths habitability. Humanity needed a solution to evacuate Earth swiftly. The Birth of RINGS: At another UN meeting, Dr. Agastya and Dr. DSouza introduced the concept of RINGS (Rationally Integrated Nations for Governing Science). Their vision was an independent organization dedicated to space expansion, capable of conducting research and executing projects for governments and private enterprises. Initially, the proposal faced rejection, but private ventures like Terra-Nova Industries and Solar-Tech Industries rallied behind the idea. Over the next three years, global media campaigns built public support for RINGS. By June 12, 2148, under immense public pressure, the United Nations approved the formation of RINGS. Dr. Agastya was appointed as its president, with Dr. DSouza as vice-president. Private ventures were awarded contracts for essential projects: base-building by Terra-Nova, Dyson Sphere construction by Solar-Tech, and energy supply by Nu-Tech Weaponries. Within a decade, RINGS had transformed the moons of Jupiter and SaturnTitan, Europa, Callisto, Ganymede, Io, and Rheainto bustling hubs. By 2160, these colonies were fully habitable, thanks to groundbreaking technology that balanced atmospheric composition. RINGS established its headquarters on Pluto, and Titan became the hub of human expansion. The UNSC Emerges: In 2161, the United Nations evolved into the United Nations Space Council (UNSC), governing all colonies under the banner of ACLIVALIOR, the first space nation. Led by President Mahindra Patel, UNSC imposed strict regulations on RINGS, seizing its autonomy and shutting down independent projects. This move sparked discontent among RINGS' leaders and private ventures. A New Crisis and Project Alkanes: By 2175, the completion of the Dyson Sphere marked humanity's transition to a Type I civilization. But a massive solar flare in 2176 devastated the colonies, prompting urgent action. At a UNSC meeting, Dr. Agastya proposed an ambitious plan: interstellar migration to another solar system. His condition: RINGS would regain autonomy, funded by a 10% tax share. With no alternatives, UNSC agreed. Dr. Agastya unveiled Project Alkanes, aiming to create a genetically enhanced workforce through biosynthesis. The projects cornerstone was the Tardigrade, an organism renowned for its resilience to extreme conditions. The council, initially skeptical, was swayed by testimony from biotech experts. Dr. Neil DSouza, though initially resistant, agreed to lead the project as its head in-charge. Project PCMR and Rising Tensions: Simultaneously, Dr. Khan and his team worked on Project PCMR (Plasma Reactor Command Module) to develop plasma propulsion technology for interstellar travel. Despite these advancements, tensions grew within the scientific community. Dr. Hung Lee, once a leading figure in the Mars program, had long harbored resentment toward RINGS. With the help of UNSC council member Zhao Wei, he established GAMMERS (Genetically Advanced Mutated Microbial Enhancement & Research Society), a rival organization. Though GAMMERS lacked the competence to match RINGS, Zhao Wei proposed merging the two organizations. Dr. Agastya refused, deepening the rivalry. Breakthroughs Amid Rivalry: On June 30, 2177, Dr. Khans team successfully tested the Plasma Propulsion Rocket Engine, a breakthrough that made interstellar travel feasible. This achievement elevated RINGS' stature across ACLIVALIOR. UNSC organized ceremonies to celebrate RINGS' success, even as rivalries and challenges persisted. The Future of RINGS and Humanity: Amid growing tensions and monumental scientific advancements, humanity stood on the cusp of an interstellar future. As RINGS and GAMMERS pushed their limits, the galaxy seemed within reach. But with rivalries brewing and the Suns instability threatening all, the fate of ACLIVALIORand humanityhung in the balance.
