"Sadhan Kumar Ghosh was born in a remote region of North Bengal, growing up in the lap of nature. He studied at the local village school and later came to Kolkata to pursue higher education at college. By profession, he served in a government job and even after a decade of retirement, his passion remained writing. This is his personal profile. Beyond this formal identity lies a sensitive, socially conscious, and rebellious self, which is reflected in his poetry and other writings. His journey in search of poetry began during the turbulent 1970s. Although interrupted at times, his small participation in social progress never stopped him from writing. Every contemporary economic, social, and political issue has been a subject of his poetry. His life philosophy is embodied in each of his poems. This is his third poetry collection. Like his previous collections, “Prithibi Amar Desh” and “Dewal Likhan”, the current collection vividly portrays social decay, while also echoing a sense of hope for overcoming it. We can only wish that his creativity continues unabated. The poetry collection is dedicated to every oppressed person in the world, with the poet seeking to pay homage to them. Gratitude is due to the poet’s life partner, Sujata, and his daughter, Sumana, whose encouragement is undeniable."
