Writer Bisambar Dayal was born on 2 August 1958 in a simple farming family in village Nand Nagla, Post Beswa, under Iglas Tehsil of Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh. His father, Shri Jalim Singh, was a farmer, whose hard work, discipline, and life values had a profound influence on the author’s personality. Growing up in a rural environment, Bisambar Dayal observed and understood life closely, an experience that later became clearly reflected in his literary concerns. His early education was completed at the Primary School in Shyaura. He then received his education up to the intermediate level from Shri Shankaranand Inter College, Vishwamitra Puri, Beswan, Aligarh. His dedication to higher education led him to P.C. Bangla Degree College, Hathras, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Subsequently, he completed his postgraduate studies at Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Agra. Despite belonging to a farming family, saints and spiritual teachers frequently visited his home. These spiritual and intellectual interactions broadened his thinking and gave direction to his social consciousness. A person of exceptional merit, Bisambar Dayal was selected on 24 July 1990 for a government school in Delhi, where he served for a long period as a Hindi lecturer and retired from the same position. His interest in reading and writing remained constant throughout his life. As a result, his articles, reviews, and critical essays have been published from time to time in various journals and magazines. He has had a special interest in the Hindi language and the history of Hindi literature. He studied the works of many writers in depth, with particular focus on literature centered on saints and spiritual teachers, which imparted ideological firmness and a strong sense of social commitment to his writing.
