Dhriti Sharma is a yoga practitioner, educator, and independent researcher whose journey with yoga spans over sixteen years of dedicated self-practice. A national-level yoga player, she has been professionally teaching yoga for the past eight years, supported by a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.Sc.) and a postgraduate degree in Yoga (M.A. Yoga). Her work gradually evolved toward prenatal care, where practice, study, and lived experiences inspired her. Dhriti is a Garbhsanskar educator and prenatal yoga coach, working with expectant mothers across diverse social and cultural settings with strong intentions of making Garbhsanskar easily accessible for all. She is known for her grounded, sensitive approach, focusing on the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions of pregnancy rather than rigid techniques or prescriptive methods. In addition to her practical teaching, Dhriti is engaged in academic research in the field of yoga and prenatal health. Her scholarly interests include maternal mental health, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, prenatal conditioning, and the systematic study of Garbhsanskar literature alongside modern research. Dhriti is the initiator of *Samatvam*, an evolving prenatal yoga and Garbhsanskar initiative rooted in balance and conscious preparation for motherhood. Her writing carries a human tone drawn from close work with mothers and families, honouring pregnancy as an important phase that deserves care, understanding, and emotional presence for both the mother and the developing child.
