Akhilesh N. Singh is a management consultant with an illustrious career spanning over five decades, defined by his deep commitment to operational excellence and Lean transformation. Beginning his professional journey in 1973, he has served as a Management Consultant, Academician, Corporate Trainer, Spiritual Coach, and Author—bringing together technical mastery and spiritual insight to drive continuous improvement. His early experience with industrial leaders like Steel Authority of India Ltd. and Jindal Stainless Ltd., and later as a professor at the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, laid the foundation for his wide-ranging expertise. Internationally trained in the Toyota Production System by the Asian Productivity Organization and Toyota Motors Japan, and in Lean Management and Value Stream Mapping at the Lean Enterprise Academy UK. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and a Lean IT professional from APMG International UK, he has successfully led over 400 consulting and training assignments across India, the Middle East, and South Asia.
