The author hails from a small village in Jamui district of Bihar, where his early life was shaped by simplicity, struggle, and close ties with nature and community. Growing up away from his parents at a young age, he learned resilience, independence, and the value of relationships early in life. These experiences deeply influence his writing, which reflects themes of belonging, memory, social responsibility, and inner dialogue. He completed his graduation through rural institutions and went on to pursue a Master’s degree from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. Despite formal education in English, his emotional and creative grounding remains strongly rooted in Hindi, his mother tongue, which he considers the most honest medium for expressing lived experiences. Professionally, he has worked for several years in the social development sector, engaging with children, families, migrant workers, and communities across different regions of India. His work with grassroots organizations and government-linked initiatives has given him a close view of inequality, aspirations, and everyday courage, all of which find quiet space in his writing. This book is not an attempt to teach, but to share to turn lived moments, unanswered questions, and small realizations into words. Through his writing, the author hopes to connect with young readers, encouraging them to reflect on life’s transitions, value human relationships, and find meaning in both struggle and simplicity.
