Mahendra, who has traveled a literary journey from Mahendra Arya to Mahendra Prabudh, has been literary-minded since childhood. His passion for reading and writing has persisted since childhood, despite his busy schedule. This is a result of his deep love for literature. Although he has written in many literary genres, he has written numerous poems, stories, short stories, plays, and thought-provoking articles, yet he shows no eagerness to publish them. A hesitation has constantly prompted him to introspect. This is why, upon reading his writing, one can see a creative maturity that reflects his long practice. He has written mostly poems, but he has also written plays and stories. He has also translated several stories. Translating Munshi Premchand's stories into a rich dialect like "Khortha" is an intellectually demanding task. Translator Mahendra Prabudh must have gone through Premchand's stories many times before undertaking this crucial task. Mahendra Prabudh himself has a deep understanding of the essence of Khortha.
