Dr. Jogiswar Goswami is a passionate and self-driven creative professional who has distinguished himself as an author, educationist, sportsperson, administrator, teacher, musician, and motivator. He currently serves as Professor and Dean, School of Human Kinetics and Health, at Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University, Dibrugarh, Assam, a State Government University. With over twenty-six years of experience in teaching, research, and administration, Dr. Goswami has made significant contributions to the field of physical education and sports sciences. Dr. Goswami has conducted more than 45 national-level workshops for teachers, coaches, and administrators, and has served as a Resource Person at several national and international conferences, Universities, seminars, and training programs, for NTA (UGC-NET), NCERT, and CBSE Committees. A committed academician, Dr. Goswami earned his Ph.D. (2003) in Physical Education after completing his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and M.Phil degrees with first division, securing the top rank in M.Phil, and qualifying UGC-NET (1997). He has over 35 research publications, supervised six M.Phil and nine Ph.D. scholars, and authored more than 20 academic books, including five university-level and sixteen school-level titles. A national medalist in Gymnastics and Aerobics, two-time Assam State Champion, and 12-time national participant, he also holds state medals in Judo, Arm Wrestling, and Best Physique. An accomplished musician, Dr. Goswami masters over 40 instruments, was a member of the pop band “Aryans”, and has performed across India and abroad. With over 500 live performances, he continues to inspire through a rare blend of academic brilliance, artistic talent, and athletic excellence.
