Sometimes, when I come across a situation or face a hardship, or even when I observe the lives of others, a few words suddenly slip from my hands into my mobile — even I am surprised when that happens. This journey actually began when we went to Kurnool for our Silver Jubilee. There, I wrote a spontaneous poem about our elders and their lives. When my friends and family saw it and appreciated it, saying it was beautiful, I felt encouraged. From that point on, I began writing down whatever thoughts came to me. And now, here I am, presenting to you a small collection of my poems — the ones that emerged at different moments in life. The primary support and encouragement for this collection came from my dear MBBS friends, who stood by me and gave me confidence. If this humble effort has met your expectations, or brought you some joy, I will consider my purpose fulfilled. In this writing journey, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart those who supported me: My mentor and inspiration, Sri Narayana, My dear teacher Padmachandra, My wife, Dr. Lujal Anand, who shares life with me, And my children, Divija and Aakruthi. Finally, I dedicate this book to the group of friends who inspired me — my MBBS circle — who have been my source of energy.
